Representative Peter Roskam has recently been touting his “ 5 Principles for Healthcare Reform” on right-wing radio and using more of those annoying robo-calls. For those of you who may have missed them, RSR is reprinting them here as a public service:
Principle 1: “If I can scare you enough by referring to the “government takeover of health care” we may still be able to kill this thing.”
Principle 2: “Just because my family has access to a publically-funded high quality comprehensive health plan doesn’t mean yours should.”
Principle 3: “What’s wrong with the emergency room anyway?”
Principle 4: “The peasants are lucky to still have jobs. What are they belly-aching about healthcare for?”
Principle 5: “The best thing we can do to improve healthcare is to eliminate the death tax and reduce the rate on capital gains.”
